I figured I review books why not review things that happen
in the real world, and this is a doozy! Last Fall I had to move to a different apartment
because my lease was up. I moved to 9 King St. I didn’t meet the landlord only
the property manager that look like a rat with beady eyes, then found out about
a month later after he was around my kids he was a sex offender hi name is Terry Martin Vicnaire Lifetime registrant. When
I did get the landlords number and called her because something needed to be
fixed she would either not answer but if she did she would scream at me asking
me why did I call her I should fix things myself. The last straw was two rooms
the lights wouldn’t turn on and one of the switches shocked my daughter I asked
her if she could send an electrician over and she said yes for the next Monday well
she had her sister call me and told me that the electrician wasn’t coming at
all , so I called code enforcement. Within 3 days she called and said she was
coming by with the electrician, when she came she handed me an eviction letter
days before Christmas. Don’t let people tell you can’t get evicted in the
winter. So I didn’t know I had to pay the last of the rent if she was kicking
me out so I didn’t Pinetree Legal told me I didn’t have to move just yet but as
soon as I didn’t pay the rent for January she went to the courts and got a date
if I only didn’t make that mistake I wouldn’t have to get out that fast. But between
the time I left she was a horrible witch still I had to ask her to fix a few
more things because the house isn’t maintained right and it is old she would
scream fix it yourself you are destroying my property well a couple things we
did fix on our own because she wouldn’t
get anyone there until I called my lawyer and was made to fix a couple things,
also the sex offender came by one day my daughter’s boyfriend was fixing their car and they told us we could
use the driveway he was out of everyones way well Mr. beady eyes sex offender
came and started screaming at him saying get off my property but there was
nothing in the lease that said he couldn’t fix a car in the driveway so he
called the cops and said my daughter’s boyfriend said he was going to hit him
with a 2 by 4. I never had an experience like this, It was a big place which I
needed. I have my daughter and her son
which was about 18 months old at the time now she won’t give me any good reference’s
so I’m stuck in a 2 rm efficiency with my daughter and grandson I sleep on the
kitchen floor and I’m unable to have all my stuff I’m afraid to even tell my
landlord now if I have a problem. I’ve never been treated so bad by a person I
am a good person polite and she just shit on me. So if you want to get treated
